Description:
EngineerTaconic, a global leader in the manufacture of PTFE coated fiberglass fabric, belts and tapes, is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure product and process quality across Taconic’s manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
As a Quality Engineer, you will; Drive continuous improvement, maintain compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal standards, and support manufacturing, engineering, and R&D teams. The Quality Engineer will lead investigations, implement corrective and preventive actions, analyze data, and support quality system audits and documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Materials, Mechanical, Industrial) or equivalent experience, with three years of quality engineering within a manufacturing environment, preferably with ISO 9001 exposure.
- Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, including root cause analysis, statistical process control (SPC), FMEA, and continuous improvement techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and lead projects effectively.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, along with proficiency using Microsoft Office.
Experience with customer and regulatory standards, including IPC, UL, or similar certifications, is a plus.
