Film Tapes
Taconic 6445-05 is a pressure sensitive tape constructed from tensilized (stretched and calendared) PTFE film and is completed with silicone adhesive. The tensilized film creates a surface with low elongation, high dielectric strength, and a consistent film thickness.
This tape functions well for applications involving chill roller wrapping, electrical insulation, cable wrapping, wire harness protection, and wear stripping. The tape is available self wound/no liner.
Maximum width is 18” wide.
