Zone Tapes
Taconic PTFE coated fabric zone tapes are custom made for applications where pressure sensitive adhesive is required only on specific surfaces, leaving clear non-adhesive zones where adhesive contact is not safe or desirable.
Zone tapes are commonly used in heat sealing, packaging, and bag making applications where removing adhesive from heating element contact areas can improve thermal flow, increase throughput, and extend product life.
Available in FDA-compliant Taconic PTFE fabrics from 3 to 10 mils, zone tapes can be supplied up to 18.5 inches wide with customer-specified adhesive widths and locations in 18 or 36 yard rolls.
